Happy Anniversary Scott

Now, however, there remain faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love...1 Corinthians 13:13

Dear Scott,

Today we have been married 15 years! Can you believe it? So much has happened in the last 15 years. Good times, bad times, happy times, sad times. But through it all, I always ALWAYS felt the love from you. I don't know if I have ever told you this, but when you got sick and you were in the hospital asleep, you couldn't talk to me and I wasn't sure if you could even hear me. At any given time, I would have 50 people around me...doctors, family, friends...but I have to say, those were the loneliest days of my life. Dark times I tell ya...dark times! There are things that you really only can tell your spouse and they will understand or just get you. I'm so happy you survived your ordeal and that we can have this day. My life would not be complete without you! You are slow to anger and you help to balance me out. Your first and foremost interest is always to support this family and I'm so grateful for that. Thank you Scott for being who you are! I love you from the deepest depths of my heart.
Your wife and friend,
Jaime
P.S. These are the only pictures I could find of us on this computer because you won't fix our other computer...and since I'm complaining on our anniversary, do you think you can fix that running toilet upstairs...oh, and that toilet paper that is still hanging in the trees from last weekend, yeah, if you could get that...that would be GREAT!

Oh, and one more thing, thank you for my four beautiful children...I have YOU to thank for getting pregnant four times, but don't get me wrong, I love them all dearly...THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!

(This is the song we danced to at our wedding...I still love it so much!)

Update: I just got this email from Scott...didn't I tell you he was a great guy!

Happy Anniversary! Thanks for the ecard and the blog post, I appreciate the props and love. I can't hear anything though thx for letting me know what is playing, when I get home I will view it there. It's been 15 years, that went by pretty quickly hopefully we will both survive 15 more and on. I love you so much and am thankful every day you are my wife. I appreciate the children you have given me and hope you get joy from being with them. Sorry you have to deal with them so much I know it would weigh on me also, as a bonus gift since mine is not coming for a few weeks you can pick any day you want and just get away. Maybe one of the Fridays I have flex we can plan it so I will get the kids to school and you won't have to deal with anything. We can plan it soon so just let me know. I love you and always will, your husband - Scott.

Okay, so you heard it folks...I'm getting a free day...he can't back out now...it's published!!!

(And what's up with me crying every time I read this blog post AND his email...geez I'm either hormonal or I really really love him)

Happy, Happy 15th anniversary!!! Isn't it amazing to share your life and love with someone through the good, the bad and the ugly? It is such a gift! Thank you for sharing your love so openly with all of us, and may Jah continue to be your family's strength.

Happy Anny BBFF, I love you dearly, you were my sister that I never had (oops, did I write that)...no really....you and Scott totally stepped up and came to my graduation and I love you two for that even though you don't remember being there (slapping you across the face)....and if I was to get married all over again, you will be in my wedding party....(but do I get props for having you in my wedding party when I was engaged to Carey from Hawaii)...man, thinking about it, how many times have I been engaged, umm, three times, THREE TIMES... .but wait, this is not about me it's about you and Scott. I love you two idiots always and forever....

I will see you at lunch and I can't wait to give you this present that I picked out for you but most likely Scott will use....on your face (you will laugh when you see what it is..so remember what I wrote- Scott using it on your face.)

I better get going, I get to see you in 2 hours and I gotta do some stuff here before I go.

See you soon Red.

Lots of love,

Jenifer

Happy Anniversary!!
If it makes you feel any better I cried a little too while reading it... :) So maybe were both hormonal? Or ...it was just a really sweet sentiment shared between a husband & wife who obviously care ALOT about each other! :)
Jamie & Scott- Your friendship has meant so much to me and Austin through the years- Today I want to Wish you all the happiness as you two celebrate 15 Years together and I look forward to witnessing your love and the great example you both are of standing through the test of time as a couple for many more years to come!! xxoo
Kristen

P.S Maybe I can help you girl when you get that "freebie day"- you know if you want someone to hang out and relax with...Besides..what are friends for right? lol

Well, thanks for that cry lady!

The love you have for each other is always evident! Speaking as someone who never felt that sort of love from their mate...Cherish it!!!! Hold on to it as if you might die without it. I'm so very happy for you both! I know that what you have takes work to maintain. It's clear to me that you have made Jehovah integral to your relationship. HAPPY MARRIED IN LOVE DAY!

Still crying...oh and I would say how I loved being at your wedding or being in your wedding...but I dont think we were close back then...because despite my apparent popularity at the time I still hadnt made it into the "elite" Jaime frienship ring at the time and so..thus no wedding invitation for me... :( But thats ok because technically even though if I could have had it my way I would have had you in my wedding I wasnt able to send you an invite either...so I guess were even. lol :)
But I am however Very Grateful for all of the other celebrations that I have been able to be a part of with you both...i.e... your 10 year anniversary party which I thought was beautiful and fun and a very unique evening. :) And I look forward to celebrating #25 with you guys- it will be here before you know it....just think Sydney and Austin will be 21 years old- Old enough to drink... AHHHHH! Ok ...we'll save that for another days discussion- Happy Anniversary again!
:)

Danice, I will never forget that moment when we were both singing that song together. I knew at that moment we were going to be best friends. I even remember what you were wearing that night...black vest, white turtleneck and Calvin Klein jeans...and that was over 12 years ago...can you believe that?
You have brought Pay Day teeth to my world and for that I thank you. Remember this one...I'M A GROSS GIRL!!! Or was it I'M AN UGLY GIRL...whatever it was...it was funny!

Oh and BTW folks, that comment that was deleted was by me...I had spelled something wrong and didn't realize it until after I posted it. I wouldn't want any of you gossipers to get the wrong idea and then go spreading it around. Always having to stay one step ahead, you know!

Kristen...do you recognize the song? It's the one you had printed up for us at our 10 year and placed in that frame with our picture from our wedding. I love that gift. It's hanging it our room!

Oh, I LOVE this post. This sounds like my husband too "...as a bonus gift since mine is not coming for a few weeks you can ...". His gift in always in the mail, he shops online, and I never get my present on the day of the event - birthday, anniversary, whatever. Guys.

I am, like, a total stranger who just wandered in here randomly and realized that someone else has my anniversary. I got married a year later than you, but it's still sorta cool.

Congratulations. He's a lucky guy. You've got darling kids. People like us have beat the odds. (Most of my friends have already been divorced three times).

Take Care...

Happy Anniversary guys! Did Scott really write that?! I'm sorry...I had to ask. Does he know you posted it on your blog? He's not a big P.D.A. kind of guy. Doug would kill me!

You guys are so great together. I really truly could not imagine one without the other. Your friendship and sense of humor with one another is the best....and your fights are awesome! It's been such a blessing having both of you as a friend throughout my life. Just keep loving one another...and keep making babies together..your's are so dang cute!

I LOVE YOU BOTH!!!

Mary
