Day 7 Of Hell (the one in the bible...not the bad word)

So I've lost 7 lbs and I'm just not that happy about it. I HATE dieting. I'm pretty much feeling like this right now:



If I even so much as remotely looked like this chick...I would continue to be large. She's hot....I'm NOT!

If I could loose 7 lbs in 7 days I'd be thrilled!! Just keep going! You're doing great! (OK...that was "nice" Mary)

(Here's "real" Mary) Quit your crying you big baby. I've been running 20+ miles a week and watching what I eat and I can't even loose 5 lbs! Do you know how happy I would be if I could loose a pound a day?! What the heck kind of diet are you doing? Sign me up!

Wow, 7 pounds, that's awesome!! Congrats! Dieting is no fun though....fortunately, it's not forever. Keep up the good work!

Congrats on 7lbs. gone!
I hate the word diet, because there is no miracle, no quick fix, no pill or shake to take that will provide a lasting lifestyle change. Being healthy is a choice we make and doing so in what we choose to eat. I know it must be better thinking that it will only be a period of time and then the diet stops, I can eat. Well, that is not true. You can still have your cake and eat it too, just not everyday. :-)

Don't stress too much about being cranky. I've been dieting for 36 days and lost only 26lbs. I just keep telling myself nothing tastes as good as thin feels. Love your blog I get a kick out of reading.

Heres my special trick....if something seems to tempting and you just cant pass it up and have to have a bite,...take a small bite of it...chew it..enjoy the taste...and then spit it out. Half the temptation is tasting it who cares if it actually goes into your stomach..and that way,..no calories! :)
