I Got Issues!

I've been told I have a juice cup "issue"...

Um...I'm pretty sure my juice cup "issue" pales in comparison to my socks "issue".

What do y'all think?

i occasionally eat off the arthur (pbs kids character) plates i bought my children for christmas one year. not just for nostalgia's sake, but because they're often the only clean dishes in a house where the same kids don't know how to load the dishwasher.

sippy cups rule. lol

I'd say your sock issue is greater than your sippy cup issue LOL

The kiddos really need to help you with that sock pile....they'll balk at first, but they'll get into it. Everyone loves having clean socks, right?

I had lots of sippy cups but now we are out of the sippy cup stage, sorry, I know that is harsh. Not to worry since, I promised myself that if I would win the lottery or have a change in my financial situation, I would gladly have another baby.( I do play the lottery because I am "worldly") My hopes on that are almost over too since my numbers never get me anywhere and my biological clock is ticking away. I also always do have a basket of socks ready to be matched for months. It is all good! You have no issues Jaime, thanks for the pics it just lets us know that we are not the only ones!

Is that basket thing from Ikea?

I finally just went throught all my miss matched sock bucket and threw anything that I couldn't match. It was liberating. Some of these socks have been in the bucket for years without a mate! Now I totally have to tackle my sippy cup and bowl/lid drawers.

That is hysterical! I work for a family who has to cabinets devoted to sippy cups, and it drives me crazy because the daughter only wants her favorite one! The socks are in the void...god only knows where that void ends...

I can't judge. I have only 1 child who's 12.

That's a lot of socks! It's a lot of sippy cups too. Is it sippy cup or tippy cup....I can never remember.

Oh wow.....I don't know how to comment on the socks. As for the sippy cups, I understand. Oh, it was such a joyous day when I cleaned out the sippy cups. No more matching the lids to the cups after I do the dishes, no more sippy cups falling out of the cupboard. Oh, it was wonderful.

We also don't have the sippy cup issue anymore...thankfully!
But it sounds like we are in the same boat as everyone else as far as the sock pile goes! Mine isnt quite that bad- I have to admit if I had to sit down and try to sort that thing it would definately drive ME CRAZY!
I don't envy you at all!!

That is one scary pile of socks! I give you credit for purchasing socks for your kids though. I hate matching and folding socks so much that I am still forcing Jack's feet into socks that are two sizes two small!

Also, I organized your sippy cups once and from the looks of it you have actually gotten rid of quite a few! Good job!

Not bad - it's been almost a year and a half since me Julie and Lisa sat down in your room and matched about that many of your socks. It was when Scott was in the hospital the first week and we went to clean for you. Denise didn't really think we should tackle that because there was other more important things to clean, but me we were determined to match them all.

I have an idea for your sock issue - growing up my mom would give my sister and I got 5 cents for every pair we matched. We loved it when we got to do it!

Obviously I can't type correctly but you know what I mean!

I think I see the socks I was going to wear to work! I have had this pair on for 3 days now and they are getting gamey.

Just a thought, do what I do when I can't match any more of the fornicating socks (you do know they do that, don't you...thats how they get to be so many) I just have to throw them out and start
again! Angela loves to peel her socks off and sling them as far away from her as possible! Too
bad Granny Hazel isn't around, she could get you some free condoms for the socks!
